How the index is built
- Realtime = median of live on-demand asks on Vast.ai, blended 60/40 with the published on-demand median of Lambda, RunPod, Nebius, GMI and CoreWeave.
- Spot = median of live minimum bids for interruptible capacity.
- Each model has a floor and a ceiling; a thin or noisy order book can't push the index outside it.
- Refreshed hourly; the 30d column is the trend of realtime prints.
Contract terms
- 1-year: realtime × 0.75 (≈25% reserved discount, in line with public 1-year price lists).
- 3-year: realtime × 0.55 (≈45% discount).
- 5-year: realtime × 0.45, extrapolated; flatkey settles 5-year deals case by case.
- Ranges are the p25–p75 of live asks scaled by the same multiplier.
